We are currently looking for highly motivated individuals to join our operations and technical services team.
Field Service Technician (FST) — Entry Level
As a FST with ABCOMRENTS, your responsibilities will include delivery, setup and pickup of technology equipment to client sites. The FST will be responsible for customer interaction, on-site technical support & setups, troubleshooting and teardown of Computer & Digital Signage equipment at hotels, convention centers and corporate locations. You will spend a great deal of time on the field, driving company vehicles and loading/unloading equipment to the various locations.
When you are not in the field, you will support operations in any capacity which includes prepping outbound orders, checking inbound equipment, testing and quality control of all our equipment. Experience with computers and video equipment a plus! Must have a good driving record, company vehicles provided.This is a full time position with a minimum of 40 hours/week. Flexible work hours including on-call support and up to 10% travel is optional. This is not an industry that works a basic 40 hour week, there is weekend on-call support and also plenty of overtime required. This is the perfect entry-level position for any recent graduates that are looking to get hands-on experience with the latest technology available in the market. - Minimum of High School graduate, college coursework preferred
- Must be a team player and possess excellent customer service skills
- Willingness to put the customer first in any situation
- Baseline knowledge of computers and/or audio visual equipment
- Must have a flexible schedule to work significant overtime during busier seasons
