Accounting / Admin Assistant
We have an immediate opening for an Admin / Accounting Assistant position.  The Accounting/Administrator Assistant position is responsible for providing clerical accounting support and is responsible for assisting accounting with a variety of operational tasks like collection of outstanding accounts receivable, and other office and general administrative duties as needed.  We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Help with customers applications
  • Generate and email invoices on a daily basis
  • Follow up on, collect and allocate payments
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
  • 1099’s
  • Process vendor invoices and expense reports
  • Retrieve, file, organize and archive financial records as necessary
  • Assist with all other accounting functions
  • Assist with office and general administrative duties

Education and Experience

  • Knowledge of accounts payable/ receivable
  • Knowledge of office administration and procedures
  • Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
  • Experience in QuickBooks
  • 0 – 2 years general accounting experience
